A Taste of Waterboarding

PZ over at Pharyngula posted a link to a guy who waterboarded himself to see what it's like.

If you've been following the whole torture debate and the Bush Administration's insistence that waterboarding isn't torture, you should check this out. Yi-ikes.

Knowing the President, he probably heard "waterboarding" and thought it was some sort of Xtreme sport. "These kids and their waterboarding and rocky roll music. Hee hee hee."

It's like when Reagan heard "Born in the USA" and thought it was a patriotic song.

Well, maybe the way to look at waterboarding is that they think the prisoners don't know how to swim and this is just a way to get them used to the water. See, they're really doing them a favor by giving them swimming lessons.
