What do they talk about in private?

As I was moving through the Metro station, coming home on Wednesday night, I heard some cries of happiness as a couple of college-age men were met by their friends at the tunnel exit. The whole group started moving towards the parking lot when I did.

One of the friends, a striking young woman, actually said the following in a happy and rather loud voice (paraphrased, I’m not a dictation, er, guy, um, I mean, dictator. Yeah, that’s it.):

“There’s this guy, John, coming over. He thinks that Sally is pregnant so he’s bringing her $500 for an abortion. She’s not really pregnant, she’s just getting the money. Isn’t that a great idea? I thought of it.”

I don’t know if she was just yanking the chains of the friends, or those (like me) close enough to hear, or if she was actually confessing to a horrible scam.

My conclusion: Attractive young people are evil.
