I know you are but what am I?

I'll give this to John McCain, he's really, really good at the "I'm rubber, you're glue" style of argument. When it's pointed out that he has been one of the President's ardent supporters and voted with Bush over 90% of the time, he just turns the tables.

Ever since the Republican presidential nominee told Barack Obama at the final debate last week that "I am not President Bush," McCain has built on that line with language increasingly critical of the man he hopes to succeed.

And on Thursday McCain even tried to turn the tables on Obama. In a written statement on the latest unemployment numbers, he accused Obama of offering a new era of Bush economic policies.

"Our Jobs for America plan will create millions of new jobs. Barack Obama's only answer is to double-down on the Bush administration's legacy of out-of-control spending, raise taxes on small businesses, impose mandates on employers and raise trade barriers -- a time-proven recipe for turning tough economic times into terrible economic circumstances," his statement said.

Oh, burn. He totally nailed you, Barack Obama, for your frequent support of President Bush. You are so trashed.

Fifth graders across the country have rallied behind McCain.
