In which I just rent my garment

Awful, awful, news.  ABC has cancelled one of the BEST SHOWS ON TELEVISION, Pushing Daisies.

Craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaap!!!!!!!

Besides being sweet, funny, quirky, well-written, well-acted, touching, mysterious and just amazing, the show has ongoing storylines with Stephen Root and Paul Reubens, for Zod’s sake.  How can you bail when you have Stephen Root and Paul Reubens?!?

They’ll air the remaining episodes, but the 13th of the season and final for the series will end in a cliffhanger.  I am so depressed.

Almost all of the shows that I watch have been screwing up. By that I mean that the writers are having the characters doing things they wouldn't do, or that are just stupid, or that are taking the show in a direction that is lame or silly. The ONE that I watch that wasn't getting stupid, My Own Worst Enemy, has been canceled. Sucks.

I Can't believe they cancelled MOWE after, what, just 3/4 episodes? It's the only new show I was watching this year, and I think Christian Slater has been fabulous! What the hell is everyone else doing on Monday nights? Some recession.
