I was watching Headline News this morning and when the anchor started a sentence"Being the President . . ." I almost threw up in my mouth for a second until I remembered that she was talking about the new guy, not the last guy. A wave of relief then washed over me.
It's going to be tough getting over the initial visceral reaction to the words "The President". I'll have to muddle through by focusing on his competence and intelligence.
