Nevertheless, below is the first ever shot of the Apollo 11 lander taken from lunar orbit. Holy crap!


This image was taken by the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter this week. And this is a low res picture. Pretty soon they'll even have higher res pics. Awesome!
