Next up on CNN, magic!

Sheesh CNN.

Over the past week, news outlets have featured a bunch of glurgey stories about how getting pounded by an earthquake, sickness and starvation hasn't shaken Haitians' conviction that a benevolent God is somehow watching over them. As irrational as that is, it's understandable as a method people use to cope with horror. But this is going too far.


Sorry, but rescuing a guy after 11 days in the rubble isn't a miracle. It's a great thing, it's wonderful that he survived, but it's not a miracle.

Which I would think that an objective news organization would recognize.
