Last night’s snow didn’t impact my commute much this morning, although it did get school cancelled throughout the area. Lucky kids!
What’s special is how this particular snowfall affected the landscape. There was no wind last evening or this morning so the snow fell straight down and piled up delicately on every tree branch. Trees all through my neighborhood were puffy white copies of their usual selves. It’s quite beautiful and a nice contrast to the usual ice-covered hellscape we usually see after a snowstorm.
You can give me snow like this any day. (Especially in July. That would rule!)
