Poland's Tragedy

It’s hard to imagine how horrible it must be for the Polish people right now, losing their President, top military leaders and so many of their civil leaders.  Ironically, this loss happened on a trip to honor the victims of the Katyn Massacre, where Soviet intelligence forces massacred tens of thousands of Poland’s leaders during Word War II.  Poland has had a very rough history, unhappily situated between Germany and Russia.  They can’t even get a break during peacetime.
It also saddens me to think that if this same tragedy occurred here and we lost our equivalent leaders, hundreds of thousands of Americans, likely including some in Congress, would be dancing in the streets.
