Rachel's First Job

Being an industrious sort, Rachel applied for a job just before we left for our summer vacation.  She went in for an interview a couple of days after we returned and was hired on the spot.  She started last week and seems to be enjoying it, doing a good job and learning quickly.

What’s the job?

She’s slinging ice cream at Bruster’s real ice cream!  Handling customers and money, following some (hopefully) stringent health regulations, and having to memorize a wide menu are all great experiences for a first time worker.  She can only work limited hours during the school year but Bruster’s is really good about that. 

We’re very proud of her.
