Security Theatre

As I left work tonight and arrived at the Archives metro station, TSA agents were setting up for the thankless and worthless job of inspecting people's bags. Luckily I got through before they started so I didn't have to refuse a bag check and walk in the rain to the Chinatown station. It was my first face to face encounter with this stupidity of a policy.

I feel so much safer.
