While I generally prefer ice cream, we've recently been taken with a new frozen yogurt bar in town called Yogi Castle. YC is a rapidly expanding Maryland chain with three locations and more coming. Ours is next to the brand new Chipotle in the Germantown Town Center. I have no idea what the name means, unless Yogi is plural of yogurt.
YC is one of the newish self-serve style yogurt bars where you fill your cup with whatever frozen yogurt and toppings you like and then pay by weight. They offer 16 different flavors of yogurt, including several fruits (mango, peach, strawberry, raspberry) and some "ice cream" flavors (vanilla, chocolate, red velvet, cake batter, peanut butter). There are also some sugar free options. The toppings bar is huge, awesome and includes the BEST blueberries I've ever had. I don't know where they get them, but they're great.
We've been there twice this week. If you're in town, check them out.
