The most amazing part of this is that they have somehow convinced these same poor people that they need to vote against their own futures. It's mind-boggling.
I had this very argument with some conservatives in my family. They believe we should raise taxes on the poor, who would then feel some ownership of the country, but leave the rich alone. Ay carumba.
30 years of conservative misinformation have taken a terrible toll.
