Swimming upstream against stupidity

Once again, Democrats are prepared to cut off their nose to spite their face.

According to polls, Republicans are poised to win the New York congressional seat vacated by Anthony Weiner (D), a big upset in a heavily Democratic district. Republican Bob Turner is leading Democratic state Assemblyman David Weprin, 47 percent to 41 percent. The race is being interpreted as a symptom of President Obama’s unpopularity. Link
