Salem's Lot argues for a vampire-based foreign policy

There are many reasons why Republican Texas Governor Rick Perry is unsuited to be President.  This is a big one.

As a Christian I have a clear directive to support Israel, from my perspective its pretty easy both as an American and a Christian. I am going to stand with Israel. Link

Support for Israel is fine, but foreign policy based on the Bible is unacceptable.  We live in a complex, interconnected world, requiring information, thoughtful analysis and flexibility.  Formulating any policy positions based on the Bible should immediately disqualify you as a serious candidate.

Of course, this is America, so it won't.
