Staycation - Day 11, the Final Day

It was with a heavy heart that I awoke yesterday, the last day of my Staycation.  Still, I had lots to do.

The tree guys were supposed to arrive at 9:30 but called because they were running late.  They arrived at 10:30 and got to work.  Many of the trees around our house were actually touching the house, one so much that a squirrel can jump onto our roof, move through a hole in our gutter and live in our attic (a problem for another day).  In addition, they were to take down our pine tree.  They took the extra step of completely removing the stump which was awesome.

While they worked, I went around the house finishing up projects.  I finished cleaning the garage and reparked the car.  I cleaned the basement and utility room.  I made a list of all our laserdiscs that I need to sell.  Nothing huge.

After the tree guys left for the day, I got everything ready for work in the morning and had a nice leisurely evening.  It was great not having to run around or go out.

And this morning I was back at work.

Tomorrow I'll post a list of everything I got done.  It was quite a bit of work and a load off my mind to make so much progress on so many projects.  And I barely thought about work at all.
