Take Note

 

Yesterday, as rampant unemployment and economic devastation continues, Senate Republicans voted against a bill that would give tax cuts to the poor and middle class, provide aid to America’s schools, raise taxes on those making over $1 million a year, and potentially create millions of jobs.  They did this for two reasons:  to protect the rich from sharing any of the burden the rest of America is carrying and to deny President Obama a victory.
