Just a friendly reminder to those students who rioted at Penn State in support of Joe Paterno. 

Joe Paterno was not fired because Penn State didn't support him.  He was not fired because the University has been looking for an excuse to fire him for years.

Joe Paterno was fired because he was informed of a man connected to the football program RAPING A YOUNG CHILD in the football locker room showers AND HE DID NOTHING.

Don't get confused by your loyalty to the football team or Paterno's amazing record. 

This is about covering up a CHILD RAPE. And if you cover up a child rape, the LEAST that should happen is that you should lose your job.

The University didn't tarnish Paterno's legacy, Paterno did.
