This is just sickening

Sometimes it is very, very difficult to find any comfort in the humanity of your fellow Americans.

You may be aware of the story of Trayvon Martin, a black teen visiting his father in Florida who went out to 7-11 for a snack during halftime of a game they were watching, and was followed, harassed and eventually shot to death by a 250 pound, 6 foot+ self-styled neighborhood watch guy, George Zimmerman. Zimmerman claims that he felt threatened by the unarmed, 150 pound teenager and shot him in self-defense.

Zimmerman has not been charged with a crime or even arrested because Florida law allows you to claim self-defense with no duty of retreat and explicitly allows the use of deadly force if you feel threatened. It’s pretty clear from transcripts with the 911 operator, witnesses in the neighborhood, and a call made by Trayvon to a friend while he was being stalked, that Zimmerman hunted down and murdered this kid because he was black.

FOX News carried the story and of course, its readers had to comment. If you want to be physically ill, check out this story on some of the comments made by loyal FOX News viewers:  Good Shot Zimmy.
