Rachel and I have been on the Megabus for three hours now. Before boarding we were second in line behind a mother and her two sons which means we did not get the coveted seats on the top deck at the front with the big picture window. We're seated right behind them. Rats.
I just went downstairs to use the bathroom and I don't understand why there are still empty seats on the top deck. All the seats are filled on the lower deck and it's dark and gloomy. Above it's very bright and nice. It's like people on the lower deck have deliberately chosen steerage. And we all know the survival rate is much lower for the steerage folk.
