JoePa statue and a rule to live by

Over the weekend, Penn State took down the statue of Joe Paterno. Many Penn State folk were moved to weep and some were angry at the University for the move. They felt betrayed and opined that the University caved to outside pressure.

For those upset by the removal, let me pass along a little rule I live by that I think will help you deal with your grief.

“If you, by action or deliberate inaction, allow even one child to be raped, then you don’t deserve a fracking statue in your honor.”
