Don't want to screw up your life? Don't rape

In reporting on the guilty verdict for the two sixteen year-old Steubenville, Ohio rapists, the CNN reporter said this:
"Incredibly difficult, even for an outsider like me, to watch what happened as these two young men that had such promising futures, star football players, very good students, literally watched as they believed their lives fell apart...when that sentence came down, [Ma'lik] collapsed in the arms of his attorney...He said to him, 'My life is over. No one is going to want me now.' Very serious crime here, both found guilty of raping the sixteen-year-old girl at a series of parties back in August." Link
CNN can’t say anything about the sixteen year-old rape victim because of the anonymity afforded her, but to transfer that sympathy to the two football players convicted of repeatedly raping her is not the way to go. Yeah, they’re not going to be pro football players. Boo f-ing hoo. This girl has to live with this horrific crime for the rest of her life.

If these guys didn’t want their lives ruined, maybe they shouldn’t have raped this girl.

This really isn’t a difficult concept. Don’t rape.

It's surprising how hard that concept is for some people to grasp.

Evidently Fox "accidentally" let slip the girl's identity. Big shock.

So, their lives are ruined by this? Good. They raped a girl. Their lives should be ruined. Boo-fucking-hoo.
