I guess if your job is to write futile bills . . .

Do you remember how Republicans in the 2012 election were all about jobs, jobs, jobs? Yeah, me neither. But they claim they were. And they claim that's the focus of the House.
STEPHANOPOULOS: You know, we asked-- our viewers for questions for you. And so many came in on the same exact theme. Where are the jobs? What is this Congress doing for jobs?
BOEHNER: Well, that's interesting, George. Because it really is our number one priority.
First off, BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Whew! I mean when was the last time they voted on anything related to jobs? Hint, Behngazi and repealing Obamacare don't count.

Second off, here's next week:
The House will vote next week on a bill banning abortions across the country after 20 weeks of pregnancy.
Yep, nothing creates jobs like voting on pointless bills to ban abortion.

Hardly surprising, though. Another do-nothing Congress reflects poorly on Obama, and thus on the Democrats, and thus the hope to sweep into mid-term election power.

It's difficult to screw up by underestimating the American penchant for forgetting the recent past and shooting itself in the foot.
