You know how the Republicans have built their entire political future on Obamacare being, in their words, a “huge trainwreck”?
Yeah, not so much.
From Oct. 1 through Nov. 30, almost 365,000 people enrolled into private health insurance via the federal and state marketplaces and more than 803,000 were deemed eligible for Medicaid or the Children's Health Insurance Program, according to the department. LinkThis means that millions of families, including children, will have access to regular healthcare for perhaps the first time. This will make a huge difference in the quality of millions of American’s lives. A difference that Republicans want to take away from them. And these numbers don’t even include a flurry of enrollments since Dec. 1.
The Republicans are going to eat it for this one. Happily, they’re still deluding themselves that they’re going to sweep the 2014 elections.
