Oscar Irony
I almost choked on the irony last night as Matthew McConaughey thanked "God" (over and over) for his winning an award for portraying a guy with AIDS, while "God" allowed that guy and millions of others to actually die of AIDS.
Duh, man. Aren't you aware that all things are supposed to work to glorify god? Looked at in that way, it makes perfect sense that god would specifically engineer AIDS so that some guy could get a statue and give more glory to god because of it. C'mon. Makes perfect sense.
