Hitler

Having finished the excellent Bond novel, On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, and waiting for next month’s free Amazon download of You Only Live Twice, I’ve started Ian Kershaw’s exhaustive biography, Hitler. I’m only a few chapters in and Hitler is still a young adult being indolent in Vienna, but I’m constantly distracted by two ideas when I read.

One, I keep thinking, “Wow, this would have been an excellent opportunity to kill Hitler.” And two, I can’t shake the feeling that I’m reading the biography of Voldemort.
