Ipecac Eats Burgers #4 - BGR The Burger Joint

BGR is a small chain that started in Bethesda but now has almost twenty locations in states from South Carolina to Connecticut . Sadly, their original location recently closed. These are the most "gourmet" of the burgers I've had so far. Below is their "The Burger", medium-rare, no cheese.

I dislike lettuce that spews out from the bun in all directions, and I usually tear off the excess.

This was easily the juiciest of the burgers I've had to date. I almost order BGR burgers medium but I can't bring myself to do it. This is a tasty burger with a nice grilled flavor.

The rest of my family really love their Greek Burger, made of ground leg of lamb, Tzatziki, feta, cucumber, red onion, lettuce and tomato. I've never had it but they get it almost every time.

Where was the original? The one we ate in Bethesda is still there, according to web site.

I saw it in a Yelp review (I think) along with a picture. But maybe it was the Clarendon store.
