America and Cuba: Thanks Obama!

President Obama announced today that we are discarding the failed policy of boycotting and isolating Cuba and entering more normal diplomatic relations. This is long overdue and very good news. Our half century boycott has done nothing to hurt the Castro regime,but opening normal relations, expanding trade, and encouraging travel between the two countries will have very positive effects and will improve the conditions of the Cuban people.

Despite a large majority of Americans being in favor of this policy, including a majority of Republicans, the usual suspects, Boehner, Rubio, and other asshats are all verklempt, because Obama. But screw those guys.

This is a good thing.
