Paul, Rand is running for President. Hooray.

And he's off to such a good start.
"I have a message: A message that is loud and clear and does not mince words," Sen. Rand Paul said in announcing his bid for the White House. "We have come to take our country back."
Take it back from whom? Americans?

Fuck you, Rand Paul.

It's starting to look like the 2016 GOP bullpen will look like 2012 if every candidate had been Herman Cain.

It's not back from whom, it's back when. He's looking to take us back to the 1950s.

Tony, LOL!

1950s is right. One of the (many) problems with Rand Paul is his unpredictability on any issue. He's against civil rights laws, and purportedly against U.S. involvement internationally, but I'd be shocked if he didn't pursue an aggressive neo-con strategy in office. And many of his positions, like abolishing important federal agencies, are just nutty.

He's more interested in his own self-aggrandizement than actually having a consistent worldview and helping Americans.
