So long, 2016, don't let the door hit your ass on the way out
Seriously, one of the worst years of my life. Aside from the graduation of my kids (from college and high school) and a good year at my job, this was a terrible year.
And 2017, under Hair Furor, looks like it's actually going to be worse.
Interesting how so many of us didn't have a terrible 2016 on a personal level (I became a grandparent and got a raise at work, so...), but our own wins don't mitigate the bad news for the world at large and people without our advantages and privilege. Being able to care about that says something about us, I think.

I've decided I'm going with President Dunning-Kruger.
Also good. :-) I don't think there's going to be any shortage of clever names for President-Elect Drumpf over the next four years.
Yes, exactly, Vol-E! On a personal level, 2016 was great for me. Not so much for those humans less fortunate and 2017 looks to be a disaster.
