Busy

One of the most stupid of the "arguments" that Republicans are making about the impeachment inquiry into crime-boss Trump is that Democrats should be spending their time working to pass bills for the people. Of course, this is especially hilarious when uttered by Supreme Turtle Mitch McConnell.
“If I were the speaker, I wouldn’t want to go into next year’s election having it credibly said that all you did for the whole Congress was harass the president and try to remove him from office."
Keep in mind that in April, McConnell was bragging:
"If I'm still the majority leader in the Senate think of me as the Grim Reaper. None of that stuff is going to pass."
In other words, he's proud to not be passing any legislation. It's a wonder his head didn't explode from the hypocrisy.

But the truth is actually something other than what McConnell would have you believe. In fact, the House of Representatives has already passed HUNDREDS of bills since January, covering everything from veterans benefits, to climate change, to immigration, to voting security, to healthcare. That doesn't mean Republicans have to approve the specific bills, but the whole point of a bicameral system is that one body passes, the other takes up, they compromise, and that's how you get laws to improve the lives of Americans.

Here's a list of just some of the things that have gone to McConnell's legislative graveyard.

Since no one in the Senate is actually moving on these bills, why shouldn't the House take the time to investigate and impeach a self-admitted criminal and traitor?
