The new Star Trek series, Picard, premiered on CBS All Access this week. I thought about waiting a few weeks for several episodes to be released to binge watch, but pulled the trigger and reactivated our account tonight.
I'm glad I did. The show, set further along chronologically than any other Trek we've seen, was lovely. It takes place 20 years after the last Next Generation movie, Nemesis, and incorporates story developments laid out during the first JJ Abrams Star Trek movie. I'm excited to see how the story plays out.
