For the record, I don't believe this assassination attempt was staged by Trump -- Occam's Razor and all. Although I do find it hilarious that many, many people think it was fake because you can't believe ANYTHING this administration says.
But the thought that this should give Trump some boost in popularity is nuts. Nothing has changed in his terrible policies, his lack of intellect, his horrible temperament, his utter incompetence and sheer malice.
He gets no sympathy from me.

Trump has been prevented from building his stupid ballroom without there being a security reason for it, and look! A security reason! Suddenly he can start building again!
This is beside the point that this is a distraction from the disaster in Iran, which is itself a distraction from the Epstein files.
