Almost seems rigged

Just want to make sure I have this straight.

If MAGA state legislators, without the approval or consent of their citizens and in violation of their laws and state constitution, gerrymand their state to eliminate the voting rights of people of color to cement MAGA rule, the courts have no problem with that.

If citizens of a state VOTE to gerrymand their state to counteract MAGA cheating in order to preserve democracy, that must not stand.

(I know that facts of different state constitutions and courts will result in different outcomes, but isn't it amazing how the fascists always seem to fare better in these situations?)

Oh, and speaking of corrupt courts, Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts is upset.
“At a very basic level people think we’re making policy decisions,” Roberts told an audience of judges, attorneys and law students in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

“I think they view us as purely political actors, which I don’t think is an accurate understanding of what we do,” Roberts said.
Yeah, fuck off with that. Maybe if you weren't in the pocket of Trump and sociopathic billionaires, blatantly ignoring decades of precedent to screw over everyone who isn't white and rich, we might think better of you, worst Chief Justice in American history. The Supreme Court could be stopping the American turn to fascism. Instead you're a big part of it.

History will not be kind to John Roberts.
