Wouldn't the Saints have been a better choice?

"The Lord set this up in a way that no one would believe it. The Lord tested us a lot this year, but He set this up to get all the glory."
- Colts Head Coach, Tony Dungy as quoted by the
Baptist Press.

Hallelujah! Lately I've been worried that God has been distracted by a lack of glory. I don't know, he just didn't seem very "glorious" over the past few months. Now that He's set up the Super Bowl to address this "glory-gap", maybe he'll get to work on cancer, pedophilia, or now and again keep a hurricane from wiping out entire cities. That would be swell.

Yeah, it was good to see God at work again over the weekend sending tornados to kill children.

By the way, with all the talk about having two African-American coaches in the Super Bowl, did anyone notice that Dungy commented that he was glad it was also two Christians? Yeah, good thing it was Christians coaching or those players wouldn't be able to go out and knock the snot out of each other.

I have to say, it was a great relief to FINALLY see two Christian coaches in the game. I mean, we haven't seen that since, oh, every single previous Super Bowl.

Yeah, but they weren't REAL Christians. Of course, one thing about the NFL, they wouldn't care if the coach was a devil worshipper if he was able to win. If these guys lose, their butts will be out the door faster than you can say Pat Robertson.

By the way, did you see the interview with the former NBA player saying that he hates gay people? It sure is good to know that someone whose people have been oppressed can empathize with other people that have been oppressed.
