Let's see the farmer's wife cut off their tails now!

Justice is Blind, indeed.

Guiliani says the blind should be able to carry guns

I certainly am not in favor of limiting the rights of others (unlike all the Republican candidates) but really? Blind people should have guns? With bullets?
He added that he believes in only three restrictions for those wishing to exercise their Second Amendment right — a previous criminal record, a history of mental instability and an age requirement.
Not being able to see the target (or anything else in the line of fire) doesn't make his top three restrictions? Maybe top five?

In both Michigan and Texas it is lawful for the blind to hunt. In Texas they must be escorted by a sighted hunter, but in Michigan, well, up there, I guess anything goes...

I am sure Cheney and Giuliani would have a great time hunting together.

PS. You need to fix the settings for comments so that users don't get the comment as a pop-up window. The window is not resizeable and forces us to type comments in a text box larger than the window, and we have to type half the comment blind because of it.

I think it's great the way Americans treat people with disabilities. You let them shoot guns, you give them all the best political offices, you pay them millions of dollars to be on tv and "entertain" you. Who says you're not socialist?

PS - I don't know what comic book guy is talking about -- everything looks fine to me.

Oooh, we HATE it when you call us socialists!

I think it's to our great credit that we treat the disabled so well. Allowing people without sight to shoot deadly weapons, however, seems freakin' insane.

I see what Dave is talking about. I've changed the setting and do think it's easier to follow the comments.

Note: I do see the irony in Dave's complaint that he has to type half the comment "blind" in a blog post about the blind shooting guns. I guess it's okay to shoot guns blind but not to comment on blog posts? :-)

Well, if you are blind and you start shooting, you are bound to hit someone that deserves to be shot, right? I mean, you make the unreasonable assumption that you should only shoot people that you mean to shoot. Typical liberal! You probably want to also regulate the age at which you can drive. Being shot at random is part of a free market society. If people are really concerned about random shootings, they will carry guns themselves and fire back! You must hate America if you don't realize that. Also, if an armless person can beat someone to death, why shouldn't a blind person be able to kill someone? If you knew this blind person had a gun, wouldn't you be careful not to mess with him?
