Some are now more equal than others

We’re screwed.

As expected, the Supreme Court has ruled to ease restrictions on spending by corporations and unions in political campaigns.  This means that those with the big bucks can spend those big bucks to buy candidates.  This will make it even easier for corporations to control our government and make the piddly political donations of average citizens pretty much worthless.

So much for “government of the people, by the people, and for the people”.

Because rich people don't deserve to use their money to talk about politics. Heaven forbid!

Well... maybe if they're the *right kind* of rich people. Like Hollywood types and union bosses...

Sorry to be blunt here but WTF are you talking about? Rich "people" are subject to the same laws as you and me. We're talking about corporations and unions here. You know, non-human legal entities.

Are you really in favor of granting corporations and unions super-rights? How does this help our democracy in any way?
