Wow is this wrong.

The father of a Marine killed in Iraq and whose funeral was picketed by anti-gay protesters was ordered to pay the protesters' appeal costs, his lawyers said Monday.

On Friday, Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit ordered Snyder to pay $16,510 to Fred Phelps. Phelps is the leader of the Westboro Baptist Church, which conducted protests at Marine Lance Cpl. Matthew Snyder's funeral in 2006.

 Fred Phelps is a huge, psychopathic scumbag who is about as far right as you can get.  He and his "church", mostly his brainwashed family, picket the funerals of American soldiers because they believe god is killing soldiers because Americans aren't hanging gays at every opportunity.

So this grieving father sues Phelps for his hateful actions during the worst period of the father's life, after he's lost his son ,and now he has to pay court costs to the scumbag.  He has to pay the guy who hatefully picketed his son's funeral.

Wow.
