On Wednesday night we visited a music/coffee house in Damascus, The Music Cafe.
Rachel's boyfriend is a musician who performs with a friend from another high school in the area. Brian plays the guitar while Tim (the boyfriend) sings and plays harmonica (as appropriate, thankfully). They were invited to perform at the Cafe and filled the place with family and friends.
The performance was quite good and the cafe food was great. The Cafe has a huge menu featuring breakfast items, soups and sandwiches, with drinks from coffee to shakes to smoothies. We had a good meal and just sat back and enjoyed the music.
All in all, a great way to spend an evening.
