Tree Update!

The ancient plant in my office bloomed a few weeks late this year. The image below shows the white "flowers" that shoot out in a week and are gone about a week later. The fragrance fills the hallway, gaining me much attention.

I find it just amazing that the plant is apparently able to store this much energy and then grow these long tendrils with flowers in such a short period. Afterwards, the flowers wilt and fall off and the tendrils dry and harden.
