WTF? Seriously. WTF?

Sarah Palin on Sean Hannity in what may be the dumbest, least informed thing she’s ever said (and that is saying something): 

Now, it has taken all these years for many Americans to understand that that gravity, that mistake, took place before the Civil War and why the Civil War had to really start changing America. What Barack Obama seems to want to do is go back to before those days when we were in different classes based on income, based on color of skin.

 Yes, President Obama longs for those thrilling days of yesteryear when people with his skin coloring were . . . wait for it . . . oh, what’s that word . . . oh, yes . . . slaves.

This is admittedly a new one. A half-formed idea either so stupid that it’s a wonder Sean Hannity didn’t drop dead for being in the vicinity when it was uttered or so perversely brilliant that Palin should have immediately turned into a Star Child and floated off the Earth.
