Nutjobs and the politicians who enable them

Some dumbass at a town hall event in Ohio today said to Mitt Romney that President Obama should be “tried for treason”. Yes, treason as in “punished by death” treason. (Note that the Republican audience applauded loudly.) Of course this is stupid and outrageous, so one might hope that Mitt Romney would have enough character to tell her that what she said was inappropriate. You know, something a leader might do.

Romney did nothing of the sort. He ignored her comment.

What a wanker.
