Rachel at College

Rachel is spending her first night at college.

I've gotta give a lot of credit to James Madison University.  Our arrival and unpacking today was incredibly well handled.  The e-mailed directions had us first stop at a parking lot a couple of blocks from the dorms where we were given a queue number and Rachel checked in and received her room key.  There was no wait, so we were directed to drive to the dorm straight away.  We parked behind the dorm, opened the van and started taking out Rachel's stuff.  Within a couple of minutes, a dozen student orientation guides came over, grabbed everything and hustled it into the dorm.  I moved the car to a nearby parking garage and we proceeded to set up Rachel's room.  It could not have been any smoother.

Rachel is in a double in Wayland Hall.  The room is very nice and the newly renovated dorm has a lot of amenities.  Her roommate and her family were friendly and we all got along well.  Rachel will have a great time.
