A Memorable Brunch
Yesterday, Carol and I met a group of friends at Baltimore's Woodberry Kitchen for brunch to celebrate our friend Noreen's birthday. Woodberry's food is all locally grown based on sustainable agriculture. I had french toast with peanut butter and jelly which was fantastic, if way too much to eat. Carol had the wood-baked macaroni and cheese which was also great. Several people had the unusual pit beef sandwich with scrambled eggs and hollandaise sauce.
I ate more than I like to think about but had a wonderful time with some good friends. It was definitely a day to remember.
