Respect

President Trump reportedly skipped a day at the golf course on Saturday following the Florida school shooting that took place just miles from his Mar-a-Lago resort.
White House aides told Bloomberg that the decision not to golf was a show of respect for the victims and grieving families of the school shooting in Florida. Link
Man's a god-damned saint.

I finally understand the tragic toll that school shootings take on Americans.

And if he had played golf you would have blasted him. You sir have so much hate and vitriol that it doesn't matter what people you disagree with do you will talk bad about people no matter what.

How about instead of spreading hate for once you try opening up conversations about what can be done to find common ground? Instead you just believe you are right and everyone else is stupid for not realizing you are right.

Let's see if we can find some common ground, shall we?

Do you believe that Trump golfing a few days after and a few miles away from where a school shooting occurred is appropriate?

- I do not. And yes, I would have criticized him if he had golfed. The WH obviously agreed, because he gave up golfing for one day.

Do you believe that Trump golfing the following day (Sunday) is appropriate?

- I do not. I believe that golfing that entire weekend was not really appropriate. Maybe wait a week at least. I also note that Republicans were obsessed with Obama golfing. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/republican-tweet-donald-trump-barack-obama-golfing-trips-florida-taxpayer-sean-spicer-reince-priebus-a7650691.html

And finally, do you believe that it was appropriate for the White House to brag about the very minor sacrifice of giving up one day of golf as a "show of respect" for the loss of 17 lives?

- I do not. I think it was a piss poor "show of respect" and trying to get credit for it was stupid and offensive.

So, I'm not blasting him for golfing or not. What's being "blasted" is the idea that giving up a single day of golf is somehow the appropriate response and deserving of praise.

He's just not trying very hard, is he?

I didn't see anywhere that they came out and said everyone praise Trump for not golfing for a day. To you how long is the appropriate amount of time before he is allowed to do things?

I agree golfing in Florida for the president that week doesn't seem like the best idea. Also I never mentioned Obama's golfing habits I just assume being president is a stressful job and golf seems to be a common way for Presidents to relax.

But back to the original point he didn't go golfing and you still found a way to show your hate. Looking back at the news of him golfing during this time each article even the liberal ones said that he didn't golf for 3 days. Not sure how long you wanted him to wait but it was longer than 1 day.
