It's a bunch of liberal news organizations saying an unknown source in the Trump white house. Every article references the Washington post as saying an unknown source in the white house said. Its very convenient to be able to say an unknown source then you don't have to prove yourself. For all we know it was the white house chef that said this.
Now that I have the source I'm still saying that you can't say the white house feels this way. To be accurate you should say according to the Washington Post an unknown source in the white house said. Instead you put the quote up and said this is how the white house feels.
The "mainstream" media doesn't operate the way you think they do. If you think they didn't vet this up and down the organization and double and triple check their source, you're nuts.
Also, it's a well known FACT that the White House has been leaking like a sieve for the past year. There's is nothing at all surprising about the quote from the WP.
