First up, storm troopers!

It is now apparent that the dispatch of federal troops to "liberal" cities to retaliate against those demonstrating against police violence is intended, by Donald Trump and his kept attorney general William Barr, to continue throughout Trump's reelection campaign. CNN cites an internal Customs and Border Protection email to report that the agency plans to rotate fresh Border Patrol troops (not much point calling them "police" at this point) through "at least mid-October."  Link

I mean, you can't be "disappeared" by manly men in unidentified camo outfits if there are no federal troops, now, can you?

Now let's take a look at sexy, sexy immigration policy.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced on Tuesday that the Trump administration will “reject all” first-time Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) applications and slash protections for current and former beneficiaries from two years, to just one year. DHS, a statement claimed, “will take action to thoughtfully consider the future of the DACA policy, including whether to fully rescind the program.”

What the administration has done is make official that its defying Supreme Court and lower court decisions to fully reopen the program, after claiming it was reviewing decisions when there’s nothing to review because it’s court orders. This is contempt. “Extremely import thing to note about this” memo, tweeted Aaron Reichlin-Melnick, policy counsel at American Immigration Council. “It is signed by Chad Wolf, who is likely not the valid lawful Acting Secretary, making this almost certainly unlawful.”  Link

I'm sure the "law and order" President ignoring court orders will get the conservative Supreme Court ready for a battle royale! What? Oh, don't be silly. They'll do absolutely nothing, because he's a Republican!

And finally, let's check in on the awesome Coronavirus response, lead by Dear Leader!  Yes, Hydroxycholoroquine is back in the news!

The same day, Trump spoke with Robert Herring, the chief executive of far-right OANN, about an unproven anti-malarial that Trump has long touted and even took himself, despite a lack of clear evidence on its efficacy in preventing or treating Covid.

"Yesterday, I had a chance to talk to President Trump about hydroxychloroquine," Herring later wrote on Twitter. "I gave him a list of doctors we have interviewed. I know he wants to help & put people back to work. Hope he talks to real doctors & not Dr. 'Farci.' "

Trump has cited OANN as a new favorite television channel after becoming frustrated with Fox News' willingness to interview Democrats. The channel, which is not distributed widely, often peddles wild conspiracies and false information.

By Monday evening, Trump had taken the hydroxychloroquine message public, retweeting a series of videos that were later removed by Twitter for containing false and misleading information about mask-wearing and the unproven drug.

Fauci said on ABC he agrees with the Food and Drug Administration that "the overwhelming prevailing clinical trials that have looked at the efficacy of hydroxychloroquine have indicated that it is not effective in coronavirus disease."  Link

See, Trump endorsed Hydroxychloroquine several times, so gosh darn it, it has to be good!

Here's an idea. In January, when Biden is President, let's prosecute ALL these assholes and send them to jail forever. The end.
