Truly, this is a pandumbic

You may have seen (or ignored) the video on Facebook with the Houston "Doctor" saying that Hydroxychloroquine is a "cure" for COVID-19 and that masks are useless against it. The video has conservatives hearts all palpitating and people breathlessly shouting that "We don't need to die!"

Of course, it's all bullshit. If there were a "cure", something as simple as taking an existing drug, then the medical establishment would jump at it. No one wants all the death, you see? Certainly the pharma companies would be pushing the "cure", as would emergency room doctors and nurses, health professionals, federal agencies (controlled by Trump), the WHO, foreign countries, etc. Because, again, no one wants all the death and economic destruction and if it worked, that would be EASY to prove. But numerous rigorous scientific trials have shown that it does not work, and in fact, may increase deaths.

In any event, here's some random, not at all relevant information, about Stella Immanuel, the Houston doctor.
Immanuel, a pediatrician and a religious minister, has a history of making bizarre claims about medical topics and other issues. She has often claimed that gynecological problems like cysts and endometriosis are in fact caused by people having sex in their dreams with demons and witches.
She alleges alien DNA is currently used in medical treatments, and that scientists are cooking up a vaccine to prevent people from being religious. And, despite appearing in Washington, D.C. to lobby Congress on Monday, she has said that the government is run in part not by humans but by “reptilians” and other aliens.  Link
Ladies and gentlemen, your conservative savior!
