Elio

We saw Pixar's Elio a couple weekends ago and I had a fun time. It's a shame that it isn't doing better in theaters.

I understand that there's some controversy from Disney/Pixar interfering in the original director's story, and I can't speak to that other than to say I hate it when LGBTQ+ themes are eliminated because they might offend some dumbasses. But the story I saw was fun, entertaining, moving, and would have really resonated with me when I was a kid.

Elio may not be great Pixar, but it was definitely good Pixar, and that's more than enough for an entertaining time at the movies.
