I don't watch American Idol but Carol and Rachel do. Even if only casually familiar, you've got to be sympathetic to the resident weekly trainwreck, Paula Abdul. Now that she's off the show, I think it would be awesome if the ratings completely tanked.
That'll learn FOX and teach us all a valuable lesson about (1) messing with a successful formula and (2) underestimating the appeal of a formerly hot, slightly daffy, out of control music "critic" who loves just a bit too much for her own good.
Don't let me down America!
